Genre Research: Long Shot

2nd Movie-Long Shot

The second movie I did was Long Shot. Like the first one, this is also a comedy. There are some of the same conventions as the first movie. Some same shots and angles. Some same editing and sound. The first 30 minutes of the movie were good. Just like the last one. In the movie, there were a good amount of conventions. There was a lot of dialogue. In the movie, people are always talking.

There was not really a moment in the movie where people weren't talking to each other. There were some voice overs. That was really the only part there wasn't dialogue. There was also a lot of diegetic sounds. There wasn't that much non-diegetic sound. If there were any non-diegetic sound. There were jump cuts and shot-reverse shots. There were more jump cuts. But there were some shot-reverse shots.

There were tracking shots. There were also pans. Just like the first movie, there were a bunch of these. There were also some overhead shots. But not as many of those. There were some eye-level shots. Some low shots were also in the movie as well. Those were actually pretty frequent. There was a flashback in the movie. At the same time as the flashback, there was a fade-in. There weren't as many of those as other things.
